Spicy. Warming.
A handmade body oil infused with heat invoking plants and spices.
Smells reminiscent of a spicy Indian chai, with a deep base of sweet vanilla.
Herbal Focus:
Ginger: Warm, fresh, somewhat pungent aroma with a sweet, spicy-woody, tenacious undertone. Approximately 1 kilo of essential oil is obtained from about 150 kilos of dried rhizomes. Inhaling the invigorating aroma of Ginger is an elevating experience for the senses that is enjoyed in many ways across cultures – and particularly while traveling between them. It has been reported by ethnobotanists that women in Senegal and Fouta-Djalon weave the rhizomes of Ginger into belts with the aim of engaging the dormant senses of their husbands. We love it in our luxury botanical oil blends to bring an ambiance of warmth and intimacy.
Green Cardamom: Rich, spicy-sweet, warm, highly aromatic, slightly cineolic aroma with a balsamic-woody, increasingly sweet drydown. Cardamom is one of the oldest essential oils known in perfumery. Presently, it is used extensively in cosmetics and perfumery to add a warm, fresh, and invigorating quality. According to Ayurveda, Cardamom enlivens the heart and refreshes the senses. With a lively array of oxides and ester molecules, it is well suited for massage blends, chest rubs, and in diffusers.
Nutmeg: Lively, highly aromatic aroma is light, fresh, warm, spicy-sweet, with a warm, woody drydown. Nutmeg has been highly esteemed since the ancient civilizations of India and Egypt.
Cinnamon leaf: Extremely powerful, very warm, diffusive, spicy-sweet aroma with a persistent dryness and warm, lasting powdery note in the drydown. Indigenous to wet tropical regions of Sri Lanka, India and Southeast Asia.
Clove: Rich, warm, sweet-spicy, eugenolic aroma with a peculiar, fresh-fruity top note. It is commonly used in Carnation and spicy perfumes and, in trace amounts, for imparting richness to almost any oil blend.
